Summary of this page

Associate Professor Jin Tee is a complex spine surgeon and neurosurgeon. His clinical practice is in complex spine and neurosurgery. He provides minimally invasive (MIS) and open surgical solutions for all spinal pathologies, when appropriate. He also specialises in neurotrauma, metastatic brain disease, hydrocephalus and the elderly population.

A/Prof Tee is a member of the AOSpine International Trauma Knowledge Forum which develops the International Standards that guide the treatment of Spine Trauma. He is also a global partner of the AOSpine International RECODE-DCM (Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy) initiative. He is Head of Spine and Neurotrauma Research at the National Trauma Research Institute (NTRI), a member of the Alfred Trauma Registry and the Alfred Trauma committee.

A post-graduate of Monash University and a graduate of the University of Melbourne, A/Prof Tee has also completed the AOSpine North American Combined Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic Complex Spine Fellowship at the world-renowned Vancouver Spine Institute.

A/Prof Tee treats all spinal pathologies and in particular, trauma and cancer, and brain pathologies. His private practice head office is based at the Epworth Centre (Richmond), with multiple consulting locations including Mulgrave Private Hospital (Mulgrave). His rural practice is in Mildura and Kyneton District Health.

A/Prof Tee sees private patients, public patients, TAC and Workcover patients.
